Tomb Raider: Legend was Crystal Dynamics first go with Tomb Raider, and they absolutely nailed it. One a day, every day, perhaps for all time.Īs the latest Lara trilogy reaches its end, it seems a good moment to cast one's mind back to the beginning of the previous one. *infrequent - when something is said or shown rarely.Have You Played? is an endless stream of game retrospectives. I give this game on the age rating meter, generally suitable for children 12 and over, unless an under 12 is mature enough. This I would not call an issue, but parents make the decisions, so I have to pick out that tomb raiding is glorified.

The outfits the main character (Lara Croft ) wears are sometimes quite revealing, as it shows the crack between her breasts and a lot of skin is shown. These are NOT a major issue, however nudity can be moderate. You will probably get some mild/very mild sex references.

This includes words like 'piss' and 'bloody' these words are mild and are not used offensively. Language in this game is infrequent* and at the orange light of the 'traffic light system'. Another issue is that there is some mild/moderate scary images and/or sounds that could scare some sensitive children. Once enemies are knocked out or killed, they flash away like in retro videogames. In this game there is NO BLOOD OR GORE SHOWN. But, you probably think violence means blood and gore. There is a LOT of intense action including: gun fights, kicking, punching and also some mild/moderate fantasy violence. However, is this game okay for YOUR CHILD? The violence is most probably the worst issue here. It has some great, edgy puzzles and some intense action sequences.
